Happy April Fools Day to all!

Natalie, Awesome composition and presentation! Any bank or Dr. office would be proud to hang that on the wall!

Hi Steve!

In keeping with the yellow here is my wanna-be hot rod!

Beautiful, Natalie. Great composition. values, and color.

Hi Quint and those yet to visit.

Rich, what a beauty!

Sorry I have been AWOL for a day or so. Been trying to finish my tax returns and dealing with a failing cell phone. It won't hold a charge for long, and charging is a matter of trying to get the charger cord tight enough in the phone's port. (You should see the rat's nest of rubber bands that I have to recreate each time I charge.) Anyway, I'm shopping for a new phone. Any recommendations from anyone? (My budget is around $700 to $1000.)

I have a yellow flower photo too, but it's inferior to Natalie's in all aspects. Still, this isn't a competition, so...

Don't blame me - I didn't vote for him!

Good morning all.
Yesterday was a fun day at the museum with my daughter.
Since the country that she lives in and the museum is in was on their SPRING break, the museum was "wall to wall" kids!  OMG.
They were having such a good time, it was fun to watch.

Dave, gorgeous yellow rose. Love the lighting.

Morning, Steve.

I just happen to have a photo of something yellow that will follow the theme you started Natalie.
You are getting some great photos with your cell phone and obviously are able to add some enhancements afterward.
Rich, That is a super-looking hot rod with eye-popping yellow paint!

Here is an early "passenger train".  I wish I would have taken a photo of the info plaque for this vintage public mode of transportation. (please note the YELLOW door at the far end of the composition.  I didn't notice that until I uploaded this to my computer) I wonder how often those cars got derailed.

Be back later, off to lunch with a friend.

Hi Dave, Rich, and Lorell.
That's quite a group of iron horse pulled carriages, Lorell. Maybe even a horse drawn one in the upper right?
Since yellow and old carriages are a theme here I dug up this old photo I took of my sister and our horse. Our buggy had yellow shafts and spokes. Miss those times.

Although not yellow, this pretty little machine was parked outside the YMCA this morning. I had to take a quick shot.

Thanks for the compliments, everyone. My Iphone takes a decent photo, I guess!! It was an overcast day.....which is not bad, I just wish it was a brighter overcast day. Full sun is hard to shoot in. My violet in yesterdays post is a bit dull, because of the sky....
I have gotten my cameras out, and the tripod. There just isn't much right now, it's still cold....windy....but soon, spring, soon!!

Rich, that's a neat hotrod!! That yellow would stand out anywhere!! Looks Happy!!

Dave, I like that yellow rose against the green/reddish backdrop...you got that dark backdrop shot down pat!! Nice!!

Lorell, what an interesting find at the museum! I never knew such transport exhisted! AND in yellow!! Yellow door, too funny!! I googled the museum...here is what it said: The New York Central Railroad built this replica of the DeWitt Clinton for the 1893 World's Columbian Exposition in Chicago. The original locomotive was built in 1831 and operated on the Mohawk & Hudson Railroad, an NYC predecessor. The replica traveled to fairs, expositions and promotional events across the NYC system into the 1950s. I would love to take a ride in one of those carriages!

Steve, that looks like a fun ride! Did you take your horse and buggy out for rides a lot? I never had a buggy, but I do miss our horses...mostly trail rides. I just read a little about Studebaker. Shame the man went bankrupt and suicide....It was a neat looking car!!

Very interesting if not disturbing images, Grant!!

Wow, Grant. Those scenes conjure up a lot of imagination.

Nat, we did a lot of buggy riding as well as a sleigh pulling in winter. He was a great riding horse. Gaited. He paced and was a wonder to ride bareback with his smooth gait and rounded back. Fast walker too. Others had to trot to keep up. Good personality but had to watch him with others. He would talk them for a "ride of their life". We all survived.
