Greetings all. Well, my town always has a Pre-Sturgis party the Thursday before the Rally starts. Lots of bikes, classic cars, food and fun. Here is a classic car, a 1938 Ford. A real beauty.
The link I posted is to my you tube channel showing the bike parade down main. I couldn't get a good spot with the right angle so they buzz by pretty fast. I found that clicking on the settings wheel lower right and adjusting the speed to 50% helps a lot. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PlKinDExrTY

Gorgeous car, expertly photographed as always, Rich.

Sorry, no new photos from me. One knee has been troubling me for the past week and I've been unable to get out much with my camera.

Don't blame me - I didn't vote for him!

We used to drive a '36 Ford Pilot around on the farm. The hood part removed.

Thanks Dave!
It is a show stopper for sure. Hope to see it again without the crowds so I can get some close up shots of it.
Sorry to hear of the knee troubles Dave. Hope things get better for you.

It was back in the 60's. We thought it was a hot rod without the bonnet.

Thanks Rich.

Hi MFI – I hope you're doing well.

A year or so ago I reached the point in the aging process (that many of us have experienced or will experience): upon waking each morning a different body part would act up. It has become an interesting guessing game which part that will be, and rather entertaining to see what the day presents. I suppose this falls under the optimistic philosophies of “When life gives you lemons, make lemonade.” or “The glass is half full, not half empty.”

Gotta stay positive.

Don't blame me - I didn't vote for him!

Absolutely Dave! Negative thinking always makes you feel worse!

I am a walking miracle. Considered a degenerate by the medical fraternity it is a miracle that I can walk at all. I have to keep singing that song, 'Hold your head up'. It isn't so easy having osteporosis as well. Broke a rib last week simply by leaning over the edge of something.

Walking and breathing are two things I do every day and I consider myself in luck with every breath and every step.

Now that is definitely a positive attitude.

I enjoyed a good laugh at myself a year or two ago after waking to searing back pain (and not for the first time); I remember thinking that you know you're deteriorating when you hurt yourself just by sleeping.

Don't blame me - I didn't vote for him!
