More photos from our upper Mississippi river cruise.  St. Louis Arch from a different perspective, and a street scene with color and patterns. Lastly, a view from a hotel window.

Very nice, Don. Especially the Arch and the night urban scene.

Don't blame me - I didn't vote for him!

Thanks Dave. I took my photos with my phone or my Lumix P&S. I think on my next trip I am going to take my Z6 and a small telephoto.

Don, this is the best photo of the arch I have ever seen! Gobsmacked! Well done! I have been to the top, what a view! A fun ride up and down.

Street scene is awesome! well composed! Very small nit, if it were mine, I would either make the bright yellow a dirty yellow or maybe change to gray. The yellow really grabs your attention. That is just me though.

View from the hotel window is great with the raindrops on the window. Could be an opening shot from a movie!

Thanks for the comments guys - and especially to Rich who can almost always offer ways for me to improve an image. Much appreciated. I almost converted that particular shot into B&W, which might have worked better.

I loved working with B&W and yes it would be good to see how both the street scene and the arch could impress in B&W.
