I'm posting mainly to wish MFI and the Aussie team good luck against Egypt. Should be a close match.

Then it's Argentina vs Cape Verde (which Argentina should win easily) and Colombia vs Ghana (probably will be a Colombia win).

But I gotta post a photo, so here's another of the formerly lost ones that I recently found on old CDs, taken 2005-10-18).

A Snowy Egret on a float in some shallow water...

Don't blame me - I didn't vote for him!

As you would know, our game ended in disaster in the shootout.
i do believe the coach should have allowed the goalie who had fought so hard to get to that point to have the chance to fight to the end.

Sorry about the game results.

I agree - the coach's goalie switch was an unwise decision, one that players will remember.

Going in to this Round of 16 my picks were: Morocco over Canada, France over Paraguay, Spain over Portugal, USA over Belgium, Brazil over Norway, Mexico to upset England, Argentina over Egypt, and Colombia over Switzerland.

Then Mexico over Brazil, Colombia to upset Argentina, France over Morocco, and Spain over USA.

I've picked France to finish #1, Mexico #2, Colombia #4.

Don't blame me - I didn't vote for him!

Thanks MFI.

One of the things that often happens when taking photos of white subjects is that the camera shows that they are seldom a flat, pure white.

Here the white plumage has pale hints of, blue, yellow, and gray. Makes for a more interesting photo.

Don't blame me - I didn't vote for him!

As any photographer will tell, Can't take that amazing photo if you haven't got the camera with you at all times.
