More classics from the Saturday show, a 1953 Chevy.
Looks like a work in progress on the interior, it will be nice when done!

Will look even better when it is finished. Smile All that grunt from a big V8 would make it a yellow streak.
I always fantasised doing my own car restoration but that was as far as it got. I was flat out keeping my day to day vehicles running and registered. Didn't have the time and money to spend on the fantasy.
Many of my friends are Ford fanatics but I've got a soft spot for Holden. Though nowadays, any Holden restoration would be special. Holden was GMH General Motors-Holden, was an Australian subsidiary company of General Motors. Founded in Adelaide, it was an automobile manufacturer, importer, and exporter that sold cars under its own marque in Australia. It was headquartered in Port Melbourne, with major industrial operations in the states of South Australia and Victoria. The 164-year-old company ceased trading at the end of 2020, having switched to solely importing vehicles in its final three years.
* Holden no longer exists.
Holden was founded in 1856 as a saddlery manufacturer in South Australia before moving into the automotive field in 1898. It became a subsidiary of the United States–based General Motors (GM) in 1931, when the company was renamed General Motors-Holden's Ltd. It was renamed Holden Ltd in 1998 and adopted the name GM Holden Ltd in 2005.
