Today is Tuesday here and it is still 35˚ C. With a hot north westerly blowing at 55km/h. It is only 19 days into spring. If this keeps up we will be getting fan forced oven winds of around 50˚ C.
It is amazing that flowers such as these Dampiera can survive in such conditions. It looks like a spider is hunkering down inside the back flower.

I'm having to water my desert peas to stop the flowers wilting too quickly.

These Purple Bearded orchids will be hating the weather out in the dry hills.
