I too hate deciding who wins by Pks. It's a cruel way to lose and often falls far short of determing who was the better team.

My daily walks usually take me past the house where Ron and his wife lived, and recently the formerly well tended roses were a joy to see. Since Ron's passing the roses have been pretty much on their own, and the K-M (Ketchup & Mustard) roses in particular often look like they are doomed, but every once in a while some new blossoms beat the odds and appear.
