Got up late this morning after a bad night's sleep. I have been sleeping better lately but last night I was having cramps in my back. I do not know if it was from my exercise class or what, but it kept me awake for several hours.
Thanks for the shot of the rare red bloom Dave. It looks like an interesting find and ground cover. Maybe Peter can identify it.
I can share a common red flower, the Hibiscus. I think this is a tough photo to shoot since the bloom is so big and unless you focus stack the shot, you get areas of the flower that are not in focus. And if there is any little breeze, these petals move. I know that I probably should have had my F stop much higher, but then the background wouldn't be soft.
Anyway, here it is.
