Lorell, Looks like you received some snow and by your description, chilly! More chilly air on the way. Below zero F for us at night for the next several days. Excellent capture with the "S" curve of the path showing the way! The figures really add to the interest of the scene.

Your first statement got my attention and then your explanation makes sense. Yes, a few trees to dodge here. Maybe cross country skiing would work.
I'll stick with the white today but not snow. We got another couple of inches last night, now over 2 feet on the ground. All I see from my computer room window is snow!
Here is a seaside house on Gulf Shore, Alabama on a bank of sand. I feel warmer already!
