Good morning Peter and Dave from a rainy Georgia. Got a little over an inch of rain here last night and still raining a bit. Supposed to clear up later this morning though and be warm. Already 60F.
Peter, that is an interesting image of the bridge. Seamless combination. I like the more natural version as well but the other is interesting too. As far as your image from yesterday, I had no problem finding the center of interest.
The water droplets really add to images, don't they? I should go out later after the rain and see what I can find. That is a nice effort Dave.
The photo weekend in the mountains always has a "competition" at the end. This year the categories were Landscapes (including historic buildings), Macro/close ups and Wildlife. We could submit up to 3 images in each category. There were over 40 photographers so that could be upwards of over 350 entries. Tough competition. It has been a number of years since I have even placed. I submitted this image in the Landscape category. It is really difficult to come up with original ideas when you have been up there so many times. I've never done well in the wildlife category at all - folks seem to be able to find bears and coyotes and foxes... I never have that luck. The bears I do find are never doing anything interesting. Meh.
