Thank you Lorell!
I'm happy to hear your camera is back where you wanted it!
Nice to have a group of camera nerds on a forum, huh?!!

Yours and my camera are about the same age and have a lot of similar features.
That is quite a close up of the snail! You got a nice variety of rich color in such a tight frame too!
I've been thinking about looking at some macro lenses because it would make shooting close to home a bit more interesting.
I have been hearing some good reviews on 3rd party lenses, but I would want auto focus.
I am not that great at manual focusing.
Hi Dave!
Sorry about your garden endeavor this year. Was it a pollination problem or weather related?
I don't have high expectations for my harvest this year because I had to use bagged commercial "garden soil"
(read: mostly a variety of pine/wood chips and some wet sand)
I top dressed with composted manure. I feel like my growing medium is a bit shy on actual soil.
Back in the day, I used to compost kitchen scraps and organics from yard work (far enough away from the house) but I'm not going to get into that here; it's messy and attracts pests.
Hi Rich! Thanks...good to see you!
I LOVE the paint job on those blue fenders!
And that candid capture of the camera man reflected in the head lamp!
wink wink!
Cool photos!
My first car was a bicycle!
Hahah...then I got a 1960s Rambler American.
$300 in the mid 70s. Straight 6 and 3 on the tree.
I saw some below decks photos on your FlickR page.
(torpedo and engine room). What ship was that?
I'm going to go dig around and see if I can find something from my archives that I have never posted.
