Wonderful photos, folks.
MFI, your first is simultaneously understated and stunning. The second is subtle and soothing.
Lorell, that's a beautiful and powerful image.
Grant, another suburban sunrise. Lovely colors, and I like how the branches of the two tall trees are seeking each other.
Rich, the master chronicler of many things: the Palace, naval history, ancient native American culture, and lots more.
Hi damar. It sounds like you have a lot of different irons in the fire. Have fun, stay happy and safe.
Sorry that I have nothing new to post. I've been busy getting things in order for my reintroduction to watercolor painting. I soaked and scrubbed the hardened pigments from my palette (2 to 3 hours); went through my old brushes to save what I could (another hour); did lots of reading about what color palette I want to use (4 to 6 hours); ordered and received some replacement tubes of paint, some replacement brushes, several blocks of watercolor paper, and a sketch book and several types of drawing pencils (another hour or two); labored to get the caps off several otherwise usable tubes of paint (1 hour); did lots of practice mixing; decided how to arrange the colors on my palette; and went through old photos to pick ones I want to paint (1 or 2 pleasant hours). So tomorrow I'll finally be ready to get started.
