Good afternoon guys - another light crowd today.
I got into photography late as well, just turned 18 and in the Navy when I purchased a Voigtlander rangefinder camera. By the time I got off active duty I had gone through several brands (Voigtlander, Pentax, Yashica, Minox, and finally Minolta when I got released in 1970. My plan for a bit was to be a photo journalist but that didn't happen. Ended up getting an engineering degree instead. My photography journey has been off and on (currently on).
Grant I love the old photo with your DW's Grandfather in it. I like just about any old photo.
Dave your first one is kind of a low key abstract. I knew your what is it photo was some sort of plant but couldn't put my finger on which one. The succulent is well balanced and I like the way the reddish edge of the "leaves" support the red of the blossoms. Nice.
We had two more bots register recently. I added some steps during registration that I hoped would stop the automated bots so I suppose the two "members" could have been added by humans. But the format of the member name was the same as the recent bout of members. Hope we don't start getting bombarded again.
