Two very nice images, Grant. Quite different, of course, but each appealing in its own way.
I didn't get interested in photography until rather late - well into my 40s. At the time I was trying to get good at watercolor painting and wished to photograph subjects for that. I quickly realized that I enjoyed photography more than painting, and I was better at it. Then I got into taking photos at my daughter's soccer games. My first camera was the Sony Mavica - the very early digital camera that saved images on 3-1/2 " floppies (so you can imagine how poor the resolution was compared to what we have available today). I've gone through a series of cameras, and am satisfied with my current Nikon.
Another shot of the large palm leaf that U dropped in a dark corner of our inner yard...
And a shot of small flowers blooming on one of the succulents in the outer front yard...
Have yourselves a good day/evening.

Don't blame me - I didn't vote for him!
