Thank you Rich.
Lovely and delicate blossoms against the greenery. Well captured.
90 to 100 - whew! We consider ourselves very fortunate to have ended up living here in Huntington Beach. About 1.5 miles from the ocean, our temps are mild: the coldest I can recall was about 35 overnight, and it seldom reaches the 90s. Plus our location is pretty much free of wild fire risk and much of the city sits on solid rock so no flooding risk. Few thunderstorms and tornadoes even more rare and quite small.
When I lived in the Midwest (Michigan and Ohio and college in Wisconsin) I experienced tornadoes up close.
once or twice a year we're rattled by earthquakes and most small; the worst one I remember hit while I was golfing: suddenly the birds stopped tweeting and there was an eerie stillness. I looked back up the fairway and saw the ground rippling as the tremor quickly approached me - even though I braced myself it nearly knocked me off my feet. Lots of damage near the epicenter north of Los Angeles, but little in our area .
Tornadoes are scary, but I can deal with that. But the ground just isn't supposed to move.

Don't blame me - I didn't vote for him!
