I've been posting floral shots from the outing Photo friend Sandy and I took too Huntington Beach's Central park on Feb 1.

I've saved what I consider the best for last...

That is a wonderful ethereal shot, Dave.  This one is special for color, mood, and detail.

I posted the photo below in the MM, Macro Mondays,  group.
The topic was dangling.

I hope you are having a good start to your week.

I'll probably not be able to take very good photos left handed for a good while as I go in for surgery on my right hand tomorrow.

Peter, Good luck tomorrow,
What will they be doing to your hand? I would think with the time change, you are asleep right now . But I hope you get this message before you leave along with my well wishes for successful surgery and speedy recovery.

Thanks Lorell. As is often the case, it was right place at right time, and try not to mess up the shot.

That's such a rich golden glow. Spot-on sharpness, perfect exposure, and I really like the hint of green here and there.

Fantastic photo.

MFI, I wish you a speedy recuperation from the surgery.

Don't blame me - I didn't vote for him!

OMG, your thumb joint looks so painful. Was that the site of a prior injury that is now plagued with painful arthritis?
