Hello, Peter, is it already Thursday where you live?  It is still Wednesday, August 14th,  here.
I am anxious to view you latest entries. 

Here is one photo that I will share with my club on Thursday night at our monthly photo club meeting.
One of the topics is Abandoned.  It should be an interesting night of photographs.

Great photos as usual Pete.

Abandoned - one of my favorite topics Lorell. I actually made a photo book ("Zine") with a bunch of photos I made of abandoned things.  Nice treatment.

Got back from my whirlwind down and back trip to the panhandle of Florida. Just took my P&S but I did get a few photos. Good trip, trike travels fine. Cruise control was a life saver too. I left Panacea this morning at 5:10, rode about an hour and a half and stopped for breakfast. Got this candid shot as I was about to leave.  Interestingly enough, I was putting on my gear when he came out of the restaurant and passed by. I said "Good Morning" and he just kept going, no acknowledgement at all. I just don't understand why some folks can't even return a greeting. Oh well, I didn't let it spoil my day.

Don, good candid of "Oscar!" Surprised he didn't come over and stomp on your camera! But, we don't know what he is going through in his life.
Move to South Dakota where a smile and a Good Morning is common and returned!

Two very different but top-notch photos. Well done Lorell and Don. Glad it was a good trip for you, Don, and that the trike gave you a comfortable ride.

One truth that I learned by observing how my parents treated people is that most folks are good, so one should, by default, treat everybody with respect. A small percentage of people are just unpleasant and their actions will soon show that they are unworthy of respect and courtesy.

Yeah, I agree - he might not even have heard me. In any event, I finished gearing up and got back on the road. Folks here are generally very friendly as well, but there is always someone who can't be bothered to return a good morning.
