Hey, Peter, I will go look at your photos as soon as I post one here for Friday's thread.
My photo club's meeting is next week.  And here is one that I am considering submitting for the club's show and tell.
Thanks for starting the daily, Peter.
Have a good day all.

Peter, your creations are a treat to view and study. Consistently amazing images.

Lorell, you can never go wrong with a photo of fine-looking Pelicans.

A small arrangement in the area between the sidewalk and the street, taken in front of a neighbor's house yesterday moning. The red caught my  eye, and yes - it really was quite vivid...

Don't blame me - I didn't vote for him!

Pete will check them out, thanks!

Lorell, the pelicans really like you and your camera! Great shot! Well composed!

Dave the red is the star of the show! Not sure about the matt color. I think I might have gone with a darker green like the green in the lower right in the shadow. I feel that color green competes to much with the red. Just my thoughts.

Here is one from Myrtle Beach SC. The sun going down and the moon coming up far right.

Awesome shot, Lorell....Love the color of the birds.....they really pose for you, don't they?
Dave, pretty florals......love the splash of red! I agree with Rich on the mat color. But not sure what color would work best. I probably would have used a white, just not a bright white.
Rich, beauful shot of the sunset. Hmmmm..wouldn't the moon go down the same side as the sun? I watched the sun set in the west last night and the moon later also set in the west....I never thought about it too much, now I wonder???

Beautiful image, Rich.

Thanks Natalie (and Rich). Natalie, I was wondering the same things about the sun and moon in Rich's photo.

I wasn't satisfied with the mat color either, so both of you provided spot-on feedback.

Don't blame me - I didn't vote for him!

Natalie and Dave, This was taken in 2017 on a trip. I assumed that it was sunset as I seldom see a sunrise. However, this is one of the occasions I did see a sunrise. The EXIF data says the photo was taken at 6:47 AM. So is it a sunrise and a moon set?

The moon does not travel in the oppposite direction. This is because the earth turns in one direction. It doesn't go backwards for the moon. In this instance the moon is rising with the sun and will be in the sky all day and set with the sun. On these nights, there is no moon.
