Happy Weekend All! We had a little snow and wind the last couple of days but not enough for the Condo snow removal crew to mess with so we are driving over it. Nature will take care of it next week.
Here is a Valentines Photo I forgot I had. Happy Belated Valentines Day to all the Ladies and Wives of members on Foto Friends!
I haven't taken any photos lately. Here's a suburban sunrise from last Tuesday...
We won't have colorful sunrises for a while because the next round of rains are forecast to start here around 1:00 AM tomorrow and last until mid-morning Wednesday. But they'll probably be much less intense. Still, in some areas the ground remains saturated, so there might be isolated flooding and evacuations.
Don't blame me - I didn't vote for him!

Thanks Pete! Looked at your images, just an awesome body of work! Early Morning Run, Parternoster Beach, The Gallop, Shipwreck, Permanence of Plastic ( good title), Blue Heaven. Forest of Souls Past, Arise to the Light, Dust Storm. Are my favorites. Let us know each month when you post them.
Thanks Dave! Nice calm sunrise, sounds like things are going to change.
Dave – Thanks for the comment. Another good silhouette type image there. Once again, your frame appeals to me. On my group of Dutch windmill images that I’ve made for our December meeting, I’ve used identical frames with a grey background. Each time I see one of your coloured versions, I rethink my decision. However, they are a group, and probably best left as is.
Rich – Thanks for the comment. Yes, “Permanence of Plastic” was to get one thinking. But of course, that Dodge rear light cover is actually glass. If it was plastic, it too would have been degraded by UV rays!
Peter MFI – Thanks for the comment in the Gallery section.
Love the sentimental ballet shot...perfect for Valentines!
Pete, I'll have to go over to the member gallery and take a look, but I'm sure your images will awe me!
Dave, the light on this sunrise is just beautiful....I love the low horizon!
