It is only 81 degrees F, at 12:27 AM. Yes and it wasn't really the hottest day, only getting to 96.8˚F.
Though parts of far north Queensland copped more than a metre of rain per day while the ex-cyclone stalled there, no rain at all here. I have to water or lose my garden.
My weather is cool, with scattered rain forecast to start about 6:00 PM. But it will strengthen over several days, peaking on Wednesday and Thursday.
I'm still going through my photo archives seeking photos to post on Flickr, Right now I'm up to October of 2017, so I have over 6 years more to go.
Here's one from October 2017. There was a large wildfire around 30 miles north of me, and it pumped many tons of smoke and pollutants into the air, some of them carcinogenic.
Not a good thing, but it did present a unique photo opportunity. Here's one shot (previously posted back in the WetCanvas days) that shows the smoke-filled sky, with my garage in the foreground...
Don't blame me - I didn't vote for him!

Dave, that is a very stark photo showing the air pollution!
Peter, we have been seeing 4 degrees C for quite some time. No snow on the ground and hoping it stays that way until the new year!
Here is a phone photo of the local Barbershop chorus singing Christmas songs at the Historical Society. We do it every year to benefit the Food Pantry.
That's starkly informative of the air quality, Dave.
and there's Rich's men in red making sounds with air.
My Christmases are more like this. There is more than colour to see here. There's a whole family, not all visible but there are a couple of where's wally's to be seen.
