9/11 – a somber anniversary for the US. FDR's words after another heinous attack apply here: “... a date which will live in infamy...”

I wish I had an appropriate photo that captures my emotions on this date, but I don't.

Here's a shot of an unidentified flower taken yesterday afternoon...

I posted an new shot in the WhatIzIt? thread. Hope it will be less difficult than my last one.

May all of us have a good week.

Don't blame me - I didn't vote for him!

Forgive me for being UA for a bit.

That is truly beautiful Dave.

This can be a very rough day for my family. However, Augie, my nephew was born on this day, so we choose to celebrate in remembrance for him. (Because of him? Not sure which way is proper.)

I don't have a flower, just Sleepy Jack.

The set-up is a 1977 Zenza Bronica 50mm f2.8 lens on a Panasonic GX85 Micro 4/3 camera. Yes, I put a medium format lens on a micro 4/3.
I missed focus a bit on this one, the lens is pretty heavy compared to the camera, but, I am pretty happy with the shots so far, definately a softer lens, you know, 1977. The color rendition is pretty unique, but very pleasant, and most of all......MAJOR BOKEH from a micro 4/3.

That is really beautiful, Dave, and fitting for the day.
Jack looks for relaxed.
Good to see you, Michael.
