It's Taco Tuesday! Sounds good to me.

This squirrel is in the same tree as in the photo I posted a couple of days ago. For all I know, it could be the same squirrel too. (I don't know details of squirrel territorial behavior; whether they claim a particular tree and defend it against rivals.)

Don't blame me - I didn't vote for him!

Good morning Dave. Nice crop on the squirrel photo, makes for a very nice composition.

We are going camping beginning this Thursday so I wanted to get the grass cut this morning because I knew it would be pretty high if I waited. Spotted a couple of things to come back out with the camera. All with the Lumix, handheld. The yellow one was a bit fuzzy so I played around with it in Photoshop Elements to try to salvage it.

On another note, while checking out the campground on Google Maps, I noticed a Venusualian restaurant fairly close to the campground, so DW and I will probably check it out while we are up that way. Three of the Grandkids will be with us for a couple of nights as well, which should be "interesting" as none have been camping before.

Don,
The 3rd one looks like it is made out of glass. We have dragonflies....

Don, Lovely flowers even those that look like they were sprayed with a glassy substance. Which by the way looks neat. Furry oyster mushrooms. Have never seen that variety.

Dave, the summer is coming to the end or in it's last month when dragonflies become numerous.
Strangely enough, your tree leaf shot looks like an Araucaria. Do you know what it is called?
Your posing squirrel looks like it wants to be paid for the performances.

Yes. The Norfolk Island pine(not a pine at all) is an Araucaria.
It is planted on many coastal areas nowadays. Previously found only on Norfolk Island.
There are a few Araucaria in Australia and some more across the Pacific. Remnants from the days of the dinosaurs.
The most notable is the Bunya or Bunya Nut Araucaria bidwillii. Mainly because if a cone falls on you, you would likely die as they can weigh up to 10kg.
However, the nuts are sought after by all who know how good they are.

I kept one in a pot for years to use as a Christmas tree.
