Here's our last weekend Daily of 2022.

Back again to March of 2017 (that was a good month for my photography results) for this floral. I probably posted it way back then on WC and was going to reprocess it but quickly realized that I probably wouldn't come up with a better version than this...

Don't blame me - I didn't vote for him!

Dave, I have seen many photos like this hanging in many waiting rooms. Focus on the center of interest. Well done!

Yes, the last day of 2022, lets hope and pray for a better 2023. Happy New Year to all my Foto Friends. Thanks for an interesting photo year!

Here are a couple of oldies from 2003. Shot with the Nikon Cool Pix 990. Was a great camera for its day!

Three great photos fro you boys. Thanks for make sure that we hopefully finish the old year and start the new year with dear friends and photos.

Dave, that is so beautiful, in addition to calming and interesting. The white vignette works well here.

Rich, that is a great prairie shot. The clouds and details in the deserted cabins are something to drool over. It looks like the kind of scene you would paint. Just wondering, are you still painting?

We are watching the first two of the college national championship semi final games. It is early but so far TCU is outplaying Michigan .  I will have to take a break and dig up a photo to post as the last upload to this site for 2022.

Which reminds me, another year past and thank you,  Don, for keeping us together.

Thanks Lorell! Yes I am still painting. Check out and subscribe to the other art page in the forum. I will be posting one tomorrow.

Yes, thanks Don for your work this past year. I wonder if the lack of new members posting is because of cell phone cameras? The quality of the photo is better than the early digital camera.

I thought I would post a redo of one of my favorite subjects, The Pere Marquette 1225.  This was taken in 2019.  It seems like it has been a long time since we had a field trip to photograph this magnificent and famous train.  She had a few years off due to Covid but was back transporting the children to the north pole this year.  I added a frame around her to dress her up for the new year.

Since I am thanking people, I want to just mention that at least 85% of my photographs are a result of the opportunities created by my photo club's awesome administrative team who continues to come up with unique and exciting places in addition to making sure that transportation is provided as well.

Good evening folks. Just a few short hours and it will be a new year. Time flies.

Thanks for starting the weekend with such a nice photo, Dave.

Rich, I have a Nikon Cool Pix around here somewhere, an even older model. I used it a lot until I got my first Nikon DSLR, a D7000. I really liked the long zoom lens.

Lorell, that Michigan - TCU game is something else. We watched the Alabama game and will watch the Georgia game, or at least DW will. I will watch some of it but I get saturated pretty quickly. But that Michigan/TCU is a heck of a game.

"I wonder if the lack of new members posting is because of cell phone cameras? The quality of the photo is better than the early digital camera. "  Could be. Sometimes I wish we had more members, but we have such a good, tight group here. More members would bring its own issues, primarily with the hosting. More members, more storage, more bandwidth... We have used about 80% of the allowed bandwidth this month. But it will "reset" Jan 1 so no worries.

Lorell, that is a great photo of the Pere Marquette 1225. I can see why you like it so much.

I'm going back to check out the Michigan game and get ready for the Georgia game. Go Dawgs! I hope they can continue undefeated. Just a couple more games to go.

It feels good to have 2022 behind us.

May 2023 be a great year for us as individuals and families, for our respective countries, and for the world.

Happy New Year to you all!

We've had a day and a half of rain in my area of SoCal, and really needed it. I was out walking yesterday and the brighter light in the intervals when rain paused was nice on the flowers I photographed at Ron's former house. Here's one of three I'll post one day at a time...

For me it was worth getting wet.

Don't blame me - I didn't vote for him!
