Good old IH - we had an International Harvester Scout back in the day. Had some good times in it, camping, etc. It ended when it was rear ended by a tractor trailer. Totaled it. Sure did like it though.
I rode the bike up to the west point dam this morning and stopped at a church that I have been wanting to photograph for some time now. I posted a modified image over in the challenge, but this is the original.

Hi Don!
I would love to have an old IH. That one was a flat bed too. It will probably sit out there till it’s rusted away.
What a pretty little church! I like your framing with the trees!
We hope to get a ride in this weekend. It’s been awhile!
Thanks Patty. I have passed that church more than once in my "travels" and always wanted to photograph it. I took a couple of shots with the 4x5 pinhole camera but the negs look a little bit underexposed. I am going to see if I can salvage anything from them.
Tomorrow we drive over to Perry, GA to drop off some photos that I have entered in the Georgia National Fair. There is a little historic house there that is now a restaurant so we plan to have lunch there. I'm only entering 3 photos this year.

On Friday I went for a walk on a local hill. We don't have much in the way of hills around here. However, they are places that are difficult to dig or grow anything. It is the last vestige of bushland largely not dug up.
What looks like dry rocks and dead grass most of the time can become quite floriferous when we have rainy seasons. Dainty flowers but quite attractive.
Dominant trees that reestablish after fires on the stony hills are the wattle Acacia doratoxylon and what we call white cypress but it is actually Callitris.
a fallen wattle flower.
Amongst the undergrowth are several species of terrestrial orchids, lilies and too many species to mention.
Patty, I love those old rusty trucks! Someone out there would pay big bucks for one of those to fix up....How many were there in a row?
Don, that's a nice little church in the wood! I like the one in the selective color theme.....good one!! Good luck in the photo contest! You should place well!!
Peter, that first one looks like a relative to hyacinths...does it smell nice? Funny how things can sbe so dry and suddenly come to life!! Quite a nice variety you have there.....
