TGIF, Foto Friends.

Yesterday morning we had nice storm-looking clouds that seemed to promise some much needed rain, but my area got none.

Still, it was worth taking a photo or two...

I tried to convert this into a selected color version for the current challenge, but the color was very faint. So I tried a pure B&W conversion...

Wishing you all a good weekend.

Don't blame me - I didn't vote for him!

Great clouds. This time, I like the colored version the most. It shows the most depth.
I heard this morning that some parts of CA will get 1-2 inches of rain which may cause damage not to the terrain.  I hope you at least get some of that rain.

I watched the football game last night, Dave.  The Bulls really played well against LA.  It was a good game with all the scoring that went on.  LA's receivers couldn't catch Stafford's passes and I think everybody on that team was getting frustrated.

Thanks for starting the daily, Dave.

Dave. I agree with Lorell, more depth and very dynamic!

Lorell, good selective focus and great highlights. Lower right brightness grabs the eye a bit. A little darkening would be easy enough. Ansel Adams would do that!

Went for a drive yesterday during the heat wave with the AC on and ran across this.

Thanks Lorell and Rich.

Lorell, that is a very nice photo, for the reasons Rich noted.

Rich, jeez - that is one big rooster! Fun photo, expertly captured.

Don't blame me - I didn't vote for him!

Rich, great suggestions. I think lowering the bright puffs would reduce the distraction. I didn’t see to do that because I was too into the bokeh it created and contrast. But I think you are right.

That big rooster creates some good shade. And it Sounds like you can use some shade. Tell me, what kind of temps can we expect in a few days.

Thanks, Dave.
