Rich, Impressive bike. I am not a biker but I appreciate the work that went into it.
Dave, Flowers as usual.
Lorell, The dream rendering looks like Jimi Hendrix on steroids. Also impressive.
Don, B&W suits you.
Steve, Put some pictures in the food thread. And the recipe too please.
Peter, Tough light to deal with. I have many similar photos.

Dave, glad to see that the M&K roses are dong so well.  And I like the bright yellow roses as well.

Grant, Happy Sunday and good morning to you (since it is still morning where you live).

Thanks, Rich for the robust compliments.  I know that you will enjoy playing with that program.

Peter, Those are tough shots to get with all the branches in the way.

Hi, Steve. My San Marzano tomatoes are doing fine.  I thought the plants would be bigger, but the shape of the tomatoes is so funny looking. I knew they were going to be different, but I have never had such elongated-looking tomatoes.  It will be a long time before they ripen, but all the plants are doing well.  Do you have ripe tomatoes yet?

Don, glad to see that it was only human error and the camera and chemicals are working just fine.  Good examples of vintage subject matter, Don.

I got lucky this morning when I went outside to take photos of raindrops on flowers.  We had some nice rain last evening it continues to shower on and off as we speak. As I opened the side door, a squirrel ran along the fence screaming obscenities at my dog, Ella.  Ella chased her all the way to the garden where the squirrel ran up the power pole where I took this photo.  The first time that I have had a camera in hand in many weeks.  Dear me.

Interesting looking bird nest Peter. Is that mud I see holding it together? Hard to tell.

Nice squirrel photo Lorell. Pesky little rascals.

I've had a busy day. We have a large tree on one side of the house and there are branches hanging over part of the drive way and parking pad where we have our trailer (or did have). Got an estimate for trimming them a bit and was quoted $800!!!!  No thanks. So I went to Home Depot and bought a battery powered pole saw for about $150. Not heavy duty or top of the line, but it fit my needs. Anyway, this morning I tackled those limbs and got them all trimmed. DS and DW helped me finish cutting them up and getting them to the street to be picked up by the city... eventually. Figure I saved well over $600 and have a pole saw to boot, for other projects.

Second thing I did was change the oil in the motorcycle and lube the chain. I finished installing a lowering kit yesterday (it is a very top heavy motorcycle) so I plan on taking a spin tomorrow to see how it feels. All in all a productive day.

Yes. I was having trouble with tough light and branches in the way. I'll have to try by climbing an adjacent tree maybe. Though I think my tree climbing days are in the past.

That's a great squirrel shot, Lorell.

Anyway here's Monday mornings sunrise.

Love the squirrel, Lorell. (Every squirrel that I've encountered had that cocky, "chip-on-the-shoulder" attitude.)

MFI, nice capture of the sunrise; energetic cloud formation + good colors and excellent values = a successful photo.

Don't blame me - I didn't vote for him!

Dave, I like the soft look of the yellow roses with the sharpness of the leaves.

Peter interesting bird and a lot of work went into the nest! Beautiful sunrise!
