Photo
I did this in color yesterday, thought I'd start it off today with a B&W version. I think I like this one better. Probably change my mind when I wake up again.

From Yesterday...Steve, Wow! What a view for grilling time! Beautiful!

Michael, I do like the B&W better!

Here is the dash from this hot rod.

Hello FF, how's it going?

I have enjoyed the photos you all have shared the last few days and am happy that you started today's daily, Michael, with something that I could follow.  And Like this version the most.

Rich, I love that hot rod's interior, especially the colors.

It is time to go out and finish planting my garden.  The temps are finally manageable, I though I was going to faint out there yesterday!
See you all later,
LORELL

Lorell, love the wood, classy! I never did understand the function of the levers on the steering wheel.

Hand throttle?
Happiness simply is.

The levers are spark advance and throttle. If you ever look at the floor there is only a clutch and brake.

Interesting. But have do idea of the function of a spark adnpvancd and throttle. And how is that on the steering wheel and not on the dash?

spark advance will either make the engine run smoother or rougher, you adjust until running smooth. Throttle is your gas. No go pedal, just a lever.

On the wheel so it is right at hand. Driving those old classics, like the model A, was a royal pain in the....something.

Thanks for the explanation. That is really something, NO GAS PEDAL.
