I miss the idea of a youtube thread, so I'll chuck this in here.
This lake is an hour's drive for me. We have had a couple of wetter years for a change.

Oh Peter, that was so cool. You know how much I love pelicans, but that is too many pelicans even for me. I am always amazed how these people make these estimations. I missed that course in college. Need to go to bed now. See you all in the morning.

Happy Mother's Day. I hope you are enjoying this day and and cherish the gift of having a good mother or experiencing motherhood. For me, it is one of the greatest gifts of all.

Being a mother is not an easy job, especially while fathers get to take a nap knowing that baby is in good hands.

WoW! Lots of pelicans and takes a huge amount of fish to feed them all!
Thanks for sharing Peter.

Lorell, what a good observation....funny and true!
Love it!

Nothing from me today, just enjoying a day without gale force winds!

Rich, my brother lives in Colorado Springs. He is always complaining about the amount of wind that he has there. It is constant. I don't like wind, it makes things colder than they are, it makes it hard to photograph a lots of things in nature and it messes up my hair. I am glad that it is NOT constant here.
