Gone somewhere for sure. Speaking of being gone, I was supposed to be on my way to North Carolina this morning on my Spyder to attend a Spyder Rally. But instead I contracted Covid last week so had to cancel. I figure another couple of days and I'll be back to "normal", whatever that is. Still, disappointing to have to cancel a trip that I had been planning since last year at this time, when this same rally was wiped out by a hurricane.

Sorry to hear about your illness. Is it your first time for Covid?

Both myself and my lady from ironbark have managed to avoid it totally but our daughter and hers have had it in the house five times so far.

This from Tasmania in a tiny reserve which has 53 species of terrestrial orchids in it.
The mayfly orchid flower stands about three inches tall from a single flat heart shaped leaf.

I apologize for my lack of participation here. No new photos to share because I've been busy with doctors. Had my cataract consultation last week and I clearly (no pun intended) need surgery on both eyes, so I'm trying to schedule that. Also to secure referrals for a back specialist, and a routine hearing test. Several more items on this medical To Do list that I need to complete this year before my health insurance company releases new coverage details for 2026.

Also waiting for my new cell phone to be delivered; I paid extra for next day air, but delivery is already later than promised.

Don, sorry that Covid ruined your planned trip.

MFI, I like that small orchid. Isn't it great (and surprising) that a small reserve can have so many species of orchids?

Dave, been there done that. You will be brand new when done. It takes 7 days to get a first class letter across this state of 300+ miles. Pony express was faster!
