Taken 7 days ago somewhere in my neighborhood...

Don't blame me - I didn't vote for him!

Beautiful Dave! Your depth of focus is spot on! I am wondering if a square presentation might be better, to clean up the shadows on the right and left.

Here is one taken at a park near Niagara Falls. A very dull day as you can tell.

Nice Dave. Looks like a flower from the citrus family. Rutaceae. The Rutaceae ( / ruːˈteɪsiˌaɪ, - siːˌiː /) is a family, commonly known as the rue or citrus family, [of flowering plants, usually placed in the order Sapindales.

Didn't know that goldfish ate copper coins, Rich. Wink
Is that pond used as a wishing well?
Happiness simply is.
There need be no pursuit.

Dave, that's a pretty white flower......I don't see any blown whites....do you know if it was a citrus tree? I might have darkened the yellow ball on the left.....it distracts me......on the crop, we all have our own preferences. I like yours. I may have cropped off 1/4 of the image on the left...
Rich, seems like people did make wishes in the fish pond!! Dull day or not, it is a pleasing image!

Thanks Peter and Natalie.
Yes, some probably used it for a wishing well. Here is one that didn't make the cut.

I appreciate the feedback and suggestions, Rich and Natalie. Good points. I considered a square crop but I liked the yellow bit (the one that Natalie found distracting).

Natalie, you may well be right about that yellow bit.

Wonderful light in those photos, Rich.

Don't blame me - I didn't vote for him!
