I am so busy. Sorry about my lack of participation.
I have a dinner that we are hosting tomorrow and then another dinner to go to on Christmas. I am not complaining. It is good to have family and friends. Just sometimes it can cause stress too.
We have our annual cube Christmas party on Thursday evening. I made 25 cannolis for the event. It was a fun time. We had 22 people attend, the largest crowd ever. We found out the result of our yearly print competition. I got a second-place ribbon for my B&W photo of the Joe Louis Fist Statue in downtown Detroit. The award means more to me than the $10 prize money.
There were over 200 photos submitted by members to share at the meeting. It took an hour for us to go through the loop of 200 once. WE have some pretty talented people in our club. The competition is getting tough and the best thing is seeing different styles and trends emerging.
