Good morning, Guys.
Before I go to swim this morning, I have time to start the daily for us.
I decided that I would us yesterday's milkweed pod picture for one of my photos.  Thanks, Peter.
The SPECIAL ASSIGNMENT for this month was ICM, Intentional Camera Movement.  That has always been a challenge for me. When I have attempted this technique, I take about 30 shots and hope that I get at least one that is decent.  Sometimes, they all get deleted from my computer.
But I did get one that I think is good enough to share.

I have a crystal ball that has cuts in it so that it has the effect of producing colors as in a prism.  So, I put it in the sun light, had the speed on over a second, and started wiggly the camera as I pressed the shutter.  I chose this one and took it into Infinity after upping the saturation and played with the blending modes.  There is no layering, it was just one shot.  And this is the one that I will share at tonight's photo club meeting.

Have a great Thursday,
LORELL

Lorell, ohhh! I like it, very abstract! Colors are amazing! I went swimming yesterday, today is my day for the Nustep and machines to strengthen my hip.

Here is a mural in our downtown that is a brand new addition. We have a mural artist that is very good. It is a tiger in the jungle. Works well as our college sports teams are called the Tigers!

Very creative, Lorell. It's restrained in some areas and bold in others, and that contrast makes it all work.

Hi Rich. That sure is an impressive mural. My compliments to the artist.

Here's an oldie (early 2019) that I uploaded earlier this morning to Flickr. It barely made my cut for postable photos because I thought it was nothing special. But it immediately got 1 FAVE on Flickr.

Don't blame me - I didn't vote for him!

Thank you, Rich.

That was very kind of you to say.

Years ago down at the wetlands I met an older retired gentleman who was an enthusiastic amateur photographer. As we talked I asked if he sells his photos. He explained that he bought an artist's portfolio and filled it with a couple of framed photos and a number of unframed but matted prints. Once or twice a month he brought these samples to doctor and dentist offices, and he said that he sold several prints each month.

Don't blame me - I didn't vote for him!

Rich, I love love love modern artistic graffiti.
In many places, it cleans up the eye sire of old crippled buildings that may otherwise be scheduled for demolition. What a super painting of that feline hiding amongst the jungle greens, waiting to pounce on someone. I bet those follow you around when you approach it. There certainly is a skill that must be had to work on something of that scale. Being a very good painter yourself, I would love to hear your take on graffiti art.

Dave, no way should that end up in the delete file. Your tweaking made this a winner. I hope you have started to add some of your photos in Flickr to various groups. It is a lot more fun if you interact that way and will get a lot more feedback.
