Another nice day here today. I've done my Thursday morning chores by getting the recycling and trash bins to the curb for later pick up. Later today I might ride the motorcycle down to the veggie stand (a little over an hour away) to resupply our fried peanut stash.

I went through the archives to find this image from the local botanical garden. Used to be that anyone could park there and walk around and I would do that pretty regularly to take photos. Now it is gated, only open certain hours, and they want you to have a "membership". So I seldom go there now. They have all kinds of events that require tickets too. Anyway, here is the photo.

I wish I had some of those nice little sweet grape tomatoes.
That is too bad that you do not have the unlimited access to the botanical gardens, Don.  But we photographers know that wild flowers and fruit can be just as attractive.

I think I may go out and rake up some leaves now, our garbage day is tomorrow to and our maple tree in front took a big DUMP last night on the front lawn.
The leaves are coming down late this year. I understand the delay is because of the Canadian fires.

I played a little with this one in Dynamic Auto Painter.

Very painterly Lorell. A few days ago I ran the mower over the front yard primarily to get the leaves in a bin. Today I can't even tell that I did as the leaves are again covering the yard. Also need to get on the roof to blow off the leaves there. DW doesn't want me on the roof though so I have to do that ninja style.

A beautiful morning for a ride so I did a 150 mile round trip to get our peanuts as well as a few late tomatoes. The veggie stand was getting ready for Autumn with pumpkins everywhere.

I don't comprehend throwing organic material in the bin.
I compost everything that will decompose or will use it as surface mulch.
Don't remember where I left the photo but I did have one with many square metres of beer cartons as the mulch under my walnut tree.

I'm loving all the fruit and vegetable photos. Wink
Happiness simply is.
There need be no pursuit.

Don, it’s me, Lorell with the painterly photo.
It’s okay, I have not been much recently.

The pumpkin display is great, very photogenic.

Loerll, Lorell... do we know you?????  Smile  It's Ok, I haven't been on as much as I should either.  I knew that was your photo, just had a senior moment. Sorry.

There is a guitar forum that I where I hang out sometime, and participation there is down as well.

I'll bet Patty would like that tractor in the pumpkins photo.
