I cut the grass today!  Yes, things are starting to grow around here.  My sweet magnolia tree has big buds on it and by tomorrow afternoon, the petals should be breaking through.  I cannot wait to smell the fragrant blossoms.

But until I can go out there an capture of some those beauties, I will share these two pale pink orchids from the orchid show.

I'll keep the theme going with a shot of 3 California Poppies...

   

We had 100s of these lovely blossoms in our small front yard; and I didn't plant a single one - they continue to return year after year. I had to remove quite a few because they were blocking the sidewalks, and with the poppy season winding down I figure we have maybe a few weeks left to enjoy these orange beauties.
