Good morning all. Temp is a little more seasonal this morning, sitting around 57F.  It has been in the upper 60's.

News on my camper - apparently all the parts have arrived and they are looking at when they can schedule it to get into a bay to get it all repaired. Shouldn't take more than a week or so according to the service rep I am dealing with, so hopefully by the end of the year we can drive up to Knoxville and bring it home.

And of course, another shot from the weekend. One of my favorite subjects - mushrooms. Looks like the posted image is a little softer than the original. It is actually pretty sharp.

Here is one of the sunrise photos I mentioned yesterday, taken from an overlook somewhere in the Smoky Mountains.

Monday:
Oh, wow, Don!  Great shot of the bear!  I'm just glad I don't live where bears live.....I would venture out and bump into one......yikes!! Glad you had a good trip.
Lorell, that is a lovely shot of the lake. But I would never mistake it for fall.....
Dave, another dramatic sunrise....keep up the walking....good for your health, good for your photography!!
Peter....I will leave the kangaroos to you. I saw a video, they can hit hard!!!!
Tuesday:
Don, your soft flowing stream is one I envy.....I don't have streams like that near me (I'm in very flat land) Nice!
Lorell, interesting treatment on your traffic image....Every time I see manips like this I think how much easier it is today to design things like book covers, phone covers, fabric patterns etc, than it was before all this computer technology! How far we have come!!
Dave, that's a lovely hibiscus.....I think it's very hard to take photos of that color on a sunny day, so the rain did you a favor..well composed.
Hi, Rich!  I like the tone of your WWII memorial shot. Very poignant.
Peter. I will tell you I voted. What is happening in our nation, in our world just tears me apart......what is happening ?????  Saddens me. That's all I will say.
Wednesday:
Don,  It's 52° here today. Bit chilly, but okay. Glad you are finally gonna get your camper back....hope they are quick to get it in the bay to work on it!!  Two really good shots today. I also love taking photos of mushrooms. Love the spots of blue in this. And, oh, yes!  Great landscape sunrise!! Surreal.

Well, my bro asked me to go fishing with him. Neither of us has the best of health....he is 76 and has had heart bypass surgery several years ago....he is living with an aortic aneurysm....he has replaced his knees and his shoulders. We never know how long we have.......so we just got on his boat and went.....didn't catch any fish...but oh boy was it a beautiful day for November!!  It got up to 80°. What a nice boat trip! I'll take it!!

Don, are they shaggy parasols?

Natalie, He's a lucky man to be still here with an aortic aneurism.
Looks like democracy scraped in for a last ditch chance overnight. Well done. Angel
This morning's sunrise.

Peter, he had heart bypass surgery maybe  a decade ago?
Then a couple of years ago they discovered the aneurism....he told Dr he was NOT going through another bypass. So he lives with the risk.
