[Dave]

Happy Hump Day (except for MFI, who is a day ahead of the rest of us).

A photo taken yesterday morning; it turn out pretty good considering that it was early morning in very low light...

Oh I like this beautiful perfect colorful rose surrounded by past beauties.  Good eye, Dave, and good composition.

Thanks for keeping the daily going.

Here is something old and something new from me, except the OLD is the the main event in my composition.

That's a lovely rose and well composed with the dead buds as depth and contrast.
Though the plant itself could do with the dead heading thing. Remove them and the plant improves its growth.

Your Scotch thistle dead head is also a contrast with the newer buds in the background, Lorell.

Yes it is Thursday here. Which clearly proves that the earth is a spinning sphere.

Tried this. My country is dry where there isn't water.

Peter, that composition sure looks good in B&W. You managed the highlights and shadows well.

Thanks Lorell.
