Sunday January 23

[Don]

Good morning all - hope you are having a nice weekend. Nothing to share this morning, just wanted to pop in and start the daily. I might pull something out of the archives to post in a bit. Enjoyed yesterday's photos though!

Good morning, Don.  Thanks for starting our Sunday Daily.
Here is one that I used for a Saturday FLICKR challenge.  The subject was ONE-EYE!  I couldn't find anything around the house that would be as good as this mural that I took in Detroit.
It is actually the central figure of a three-person composition. But the people on the sides had two eyes exposed!  But this fits the bill I think.

Hi Don, Lorell, and any who drop by later.

Lorell, you are good at capturing mood and emotion in your many photos of Detroit's murals.

Many are enduring wintry weather. For those of you who are missing strong colors, I have something that might suit...

Lorell, Good crop. I like the fire hydrant.
Dave, Lucky you. Not so much winter.
Today we have a warm front. It won't melt all the snow. Tomorrow the roads will be slippery.

Lunch; Pot sticker soup with chicken and almonds, shrimp & veggies...

Grant, looks delicious and healthy. Do you made the pot stickers?

Lorell, The Pot stickers were bought frozen from "Real Canadian Superstore". A 454 Gram bag costs $4.50 Canadian.
The Pork and Veggie comes well seasoned with Garlic & Ginger. They are better than Wontons or Dumplings from most Chinese Eateries....
