Good morning all.
I have been working on sewing a quilt, which takes up much of my free time.
But I am enjoying sewing again, and my latest hobby of Machine Quilting has given me so much satisfaction.
This morning I finished the toughest part of putting together my latest creation, so I will take a break in the action and maybe spend a little time with my camera.  I might go to the community college nearby to view a display with photos and artifacts from the mid 50's to the 70's.  Usually I can get a few pics of the artifacts that might be worth sharing.

Here are some artifacts from the Detroit Historical Museum (DHM).  Remember going to a portrait studio to get your picture taken?  Whatever happened to OLIN MILLS, which was a big photo studio back when my kids were little, come 35 years ago?  But I bet some of you had photos of your parent's wedding when they got their photo taken as a couple by a professional photographer at a studio.  I am sure I can dig up my parent's photo, but in the meantime, I hope you will enjoy this one taken at the DHM.

Here's a shot from 10 days ago of a small (about 18 inches or less than half a meter in diameter) hanging basket...

Tomorrow I'll post a closeup of some small blossoms in this basket.

Don't blame me - I didn't vote for him!

Our Church used them for a church directory. My Pastor said that Covid took them out of business.

Nice display of the photos and well photographed.

Dave, nice flower display. Our town usually puts hanging baskets on Main street. A local club will do the work to hang and water them. City will pay for the baskets and flowers.

Dave, looking forward to your close-ups. That's a pretty assortment of flowers.

Rich, The little city north of us has hanging baskets on the main street. Every day you see a golf cart-like vehicle drive around watering the baskets with "blue" water. Those hanging baskets sometimes get vines and flowers to trail almost 5 feet down from the basket. They are beautiful.
