Until yesterday, I've been unable to take any photos recently because last week I injured a knee. For days it throbbed no matter what I was doing - sitting, standing, even sleeping. Since then the pain has slowly abated enough for me to resume my daily walks, although very slowly. Being pain free is a relief but the knee remains wobbly; I'll need to have it checked for meniscus or ligament tears, but it's nice to be mobile again.

Anyway, I managed some photos yesterday. Here's one of a frequent subject - the California Fence Lizard...

I like the composition even though it breaks at least one of the rules of composition.

The distinctive blue throat is hard to detect in this low resolution version, but it's clearer in a high resolution version.

Don't blame me - I didn't vote for him!

Well done Dave! Rules are not carved in stone! Looks good to me! Blurred background helps.
I am struggling to get the Corn Palace photos for the Historical Society. Overcast skies are with us a lot recently!

Sorry about your knee! Hope it checks out OK!

I like the monster in the top right corner that the lizard seems to be aware of. Wink
Happiness simply is.
