A new week already. Why is it that the weeks and months fly so quickly for me now that I'm at the stage of life where I have few years left?

I've taken few photos lately but my friend Sandy invited me to join her to a photo outing at our city's large Central Park.

Very few birds around, but lots of pretty blossoms. Here's one of maybe ten photos worth sharing...

This part of our Central Park has some steep climbs, and I admit that it was pretty tough on my nearly 76 year old legs. But I believe that I gotta keep moving because if I stop it will be hard to start again. Or as Satchel Paige said: "Don't look back; something may be gaining on you."

Don't blame me - I didn't vote for him!

Thanks MFI.

Lion's Paw - of course. The only other time I've seen them the orange blossoms had fallen, leaving the interesting empty green structures (like the one at top right).

Impressive job with your photo - it isn't easy dealing with values in a backlit situation, but you somehow preserved details in both the brightest and the darkest areas.

Don't blame me - I didn't vote for him!

Thanks Dave. Smile
It is difficult with different lights. The only thing that saved this image is the fact that the bird looked up.
