Hello and welcome to the daily.
I survived the LONG weekend and hours upon hours of firecrackers and am glad that it is over.
Now we all have to survive the HEAT!

Here is a photo from last week's visit to the trailer.
I took this shot as I walked around the pond one morning.  The mist you see is NOT MIST, it is smoke!  In spite of the unfortunate conditions, it did make for a good photo opportunity.

Enjoy your day.

Very nice, Lorell.

I like the sharp vs blurred contrast. It looks to me like you applied some treatment that accentuated edges, and that looks great against the softer background. Top-notch composition too.

Here's another oldie, taken about 4-1/2 years ago on one of my walks somewhere...

Stay safe and cool.

Don't blame me - I didn't vote for him!

Good afternoon folks. That B&W really works for this image Lorell! Almost a surreal feel to it. I like it!

Hello Grant...

Dave, it's almost like the blooms are little lights, seem to be lit, and the background is kine of mysterious. Well done.

Nothing new from me. DW had her second cataract surgery yesterday and we had to go back for a follow up this afternoon so no time to get out with a camera. Plus it has been Africa hot here the past few days too. If my new camera comes tomorrow though I will probably brave the heat to get some shots.

Certainly an interesting photo, Dave.
I do like your smoky B&W, Lorell. Great effect.
Happiness simply is.
There need be no pursuit.
