Hi Dave, I like them both but you're right about the 1st one, thats a winner! I like the dark contrast and the diagonal composition.

Dave, The 3 separate blossoms work better in the 1st image. The 2nd is somewhat cluttered and my eye ends up stuck on the lighter branch whereas the branch in the 1st image gracefully recedes into the background. Well done.
