Oh oh, it is Friday the 13th!
Just thought I would check to see if everyone is doing okay.
I hope that all is well with you and that all of you suffering from Paraskevidekatriaphobia are hanging in there.

Here is a photo that was taken hoping to blur most of the flowers except for one spot.  And then I added further blur in post-processing to fulfill a challenge for a weekend FLICKR Group.  I told myself that I was NOT going to use a flower, but so far, this is all I got.

Very artistic and a really cool shot Lorell. I was wondering if anyone was going to start the daily - thanks.

No photos from me, haven't shot in weeks. I have spent the last hour or so framing and preparing photos for the upcoming photo exhibit though. It would be nice if I knew how many folks are going to display because we have 50 slots and the number of prints you can display is going to depend on how many folks want to exhibit. So, I have 5 11x14 and 5 8x10 ready. If any prints sell the gallery gets 30% so you have to think about that when determining a price for your print. Not sure what others are asking yet. We can also display unframed photos on a "sale" table, max of 5 for those.

Pretty flower! I like the idea of spot focus.....will have to play with it some when I get a chance.
Hi, Don....I can only imagine all the work you are putting in for the show....I wish you lots of luck. When you put them up for display, don't forget to take some photos to share with us.
My daughter bought 6 eggs, only 3 hatched out....but oh, boy! Baby chicks are the cutest!!  See those little yellow tips on their beaks? The pip is the initial crack of the eggshell that the chick makes with its egg tooth, a tiny hard nubbin on the end of its beak. It falls off a few days after it hatches. She has bought different breeds and named them all!  So far she has 9 laying and then these three. Wonder whether we have all hens or not? The company that I grew for is now sexing chicks at day 1.....they can tell by the wing feathers.....Growers now get roosters or all hens. That way they are more even in size when they go to market. I don't miss my job....

Gee what a couple of wonderful photos! Both make me smile.

Tough day and bad weather yesterday. Had a tornado touch down in a town a couple hours away from me. Some got wind 85-95 MPH. Our wind was 59 MPH no hail and 1/2 inch of rain. We were lucky! I had our annual HOA meeting planned for 7PM last night, I am the Pres. Power went off at 5PM for about 3 hours. We had the meeting anyway as it was light enough to see in our gathering area.

Lorell, love the softness of the flower and the sharpness of one petal.

Natalie, the chicks are so cute, looking for Mom.... but....they were adopted. Interesting about the egg tooth!

Had a second Friday Cruise Main event but poorly attended and no classics. Probably the gas price has an effect.
