Weekender, February 24th-25th, 2024 - Rich - 02-24-2024 Good day all! A beautiful blue sky mild temp day in South Dakota! I found this Sumi-e type photo today. It is grasses poking through snow that I did a high contrast adjustment on years ago. Have a good weekend! RE: Weekender, February 24th-25th, 2024 - Dave - 02-24-2024 Elegant, Rich. Another from Wednesday morning after the rains stopped, leaving everything clean and the colors especially rich... RE: Weekender, February 24th-25th, 2024 - Adamphotoman - 02-24-2024 Riche's, Sumi treatment is bold.stark and wonderful. Dave, Your [Rich Colour] is also bold. RE: Weekender, February 24th-25th, 2024 - Man From Ironbark - 02-24-2024 ^ Wot he said. ![]() I've been away both getting my eyes tested in one rural city, then fortherto the National Capital to visit my daughter and granddaughters. Spent some time in the National Botanic Gardens where my daughter works. On the way home about 600km or more away from the fires in the state of Victoria, the view was like this.
RE: Weekender, February 24th-25th, 2024 - Rich - 02-25-2024 Thanks Dave Grant and Peter. Dave good composition and presentation! Peter, looks like a lonely stretch of road and haze from the fire dulls the suns power. RE: Weekender, February 24th-25th, 2024 - Man From Ironbark - 02-25-2024 Lonely stretch is correct. Unlike 85% of Australians who live within 50 miles of a beach, I live 500 miles from the nearest beach. RE: Weekender, February 24th-25th, 2024 - Adamphotoman - 02-26-2024 Peter, Non the less a well executed image 500 Miles? RE: Weekender, February 24th-25th, 2024 - Man From Ironbark - 02-26-2024 Thanks Grant. ![]() Well, no. It is roughly 450 miles in reality. |
