Tuesday, Feb 20, 2024 - Don - 02-20-2024
Good morning all. Good to see so much activity here while I have been gone. We recently returned from a week in Texas where we attended the Laredo Birding Festival and then on to Corpus Christi for some additional birding.
Here are a few diverse photos from the trip. Green-wing Teal landing (Aransas Pass near Corpus Christi), someone sitting on a park bench in Laredo, and a colorful wall, also Laredo.

all wonderful photos, Don. Great action catch on the duck....Perfect! The monotone gives me a feeling of lonliness.....like maybe the guy was stood up, sitting there wondering if he should give her a call.....
love the colors and patterns in the wall shot....
I took this shot a long while ago of the duck, but ran it through photoshop today......the light was nice on her.....

Don: three subjects, three moods, three styles - very nice.
Natalie, you created a wonderful light.
Grant, your ice crystal images are always a treat to view.

Nice color on the Duck Natalie.
Grant, that image reminds me of some of the psychedelic images from the 60's. Or solarization. Interesting none the less.

I feel like I am in the twilight zone! I thought I commented on your duck shot and didn't see any of the others. Now my comment is gone?? I must have posted while Don was adding photos.
Don,
Excellent Duck shot. Good action! I was a duck hunter in my early years, not anymore though.
Very poignet shot of the lone figure in Laredo. B&W perfect for it!
Interesting wall and shadows.
Natalie, very interesting lighting! Good shadow detail.
Grant, very psychedelic!

Grant, I agree it does look psychedelic!
Thanks for the comments, everyone!
