Hi gentlemen.
Rich, those are lovely photos. I bet they're even more impressive larger.
I noticed the same two things:
1) that the site appeared to be down for a while, and;
2) that your weekender disappeared.
My guess is that whatever was wrong with the website was sever enough that it was necessary to do a restore from a backup that was made before you started our Weekender.

Under the heading of "Make Something Out of Nothing" I worked on a recent photo that suffered badly from unplanned camera motion.
1) The original, unprocessed photo...
2) What I ended up with (I call it Winds of Fire)...

Dave, I wouldn't call that 'suffered badly'. I would call it a lucky accident.
Something to work with indeed.

Rich, are those crocus blooming where you are? Lovely! I have some daffodils with buds on them....my crocus seem to have died out.....maybe voles?
Interesting manip, Dave.....We played with moving the camera to take a shot way back in the past, I seem to remember.....fun project from a seemingly lost shot!

Peter, I didn't even know that was where sffron came from. Not enough in my garden to bother with. Interesting storm photos!

Thanks Natalie, no a little early for flowers here. April will be about the time. This was shot many years ago. I am having a 20 x 7 inch canvas print made of it. I will hang it this spring in my condo building commons area.
