TGIF everyone. And I hope all had a good holiday.
I'm still going through my archives searching for photos for Flickr. Got 177 there and more years of photos to pore through.
Here's a shot from a few years ago of a Wayward adolescent Great Egret. I spotted it walking around my neighborhood - had never seen that behavior before. I finally realized it was hunting for food when I saw it with a fence lizard in its beak...

How was your day yesterday, Dave ?
Did you have turkey?
I am really going to take it easy today. I just decided that I want to order Chinese carry out for dinner.
I am not cooking a thing today, not one single thing.

Good day all!
Dave awesome expose and composition. I really like the lighting
Getting ready to head to the rec center for some PT. No Black Friday shopping for me!
Interesting vine or tree reaching for the sun! Somewhere in the Smoky Mountains.

Focus on what brings me joy.
OK, be still while I study the depths of my navel.
Takes another drink of dinosaur pee.
All of your water is us.

Lorell, ours was a stress-free Thanksgiving. Ordered our turkey and fixins from a local store, had our main dinner on Wednesday, left-overs on Thursday, and started on turkey sandwiches yesterday.
I've been busy going through my archives for photos to upload to Flickr - just reached 200. Once I get done with this I'll go back and find groups that suit me and add more photos to them. I did take your advice and join Water Birds and have added some photos there. I also joined !Catchy Colors and Spectacular Insects. Now I need to find a group for my Flora photos and maybe one for sunrises & sunsets.
Thank you Rich. You are right - that is an interesting tree or vine.
MFI, I was about to comment on how profound and spiritual you sounded, but you lost me at "...another drink of dinosaur pee.

It is about water my friend. All the fresh water on earth is all there is and all there ever has been. Everything is made of water and that water goes back into the system when we die. It gets purified over and over but it is all still the same water. Whether it be donkey perspiration or indeed dinosaur pee. You and I are both made of the same water.
