From way back in 2012, according to the EXIF data. I haven't positively identified this bird, but possibly a Say's Phoebe...

Good morning Dave and others who might pop in later. I agree that looks like a Say's Phoebe. As I recall we saw quite a number of them on a camping trip out west.
Once again, nothing new from me this morning. I did upload a few more images to Flickr though, and went ahead and upgraded to the Pro plan. I even posted a photo to the Smile on Saturday group. Today's theme was Talk to the Hand.

Don, you are correct and I stand corrected regarding the SOS, SMILE ON SATURDAY topic. I thought the topic was just HANDS, but it is "TALK TO THE HAND". That makes it a little more difficult. Now I do not know if I have a photo for that. Sorry if I mislead you all.

When this photo was shown on the screen at the club meeting and the members started talking about how the gal had the guy glued to her every word, I asked if they noticed the car. And one member replied, "What Car?". I thought was funny.

Wonderful Bird capture Dave. Always nice to have a catchlight in the eye!
Lorell, the B&W treatment keeps your focus on the foreground couple. With color I think the eye would be bouncing around. Good job!
Here is a Smoky Mountain photo. The haze is caused by vapor from vegetation appearing to be smoke.The color were not at their peak so I bumped up the saturation a bit. A few days after our trip through, snow was forecast.
