Desert Flora - Man From Ironbark - 09-07-2023 To save on site storage: All my uploaded images are already on the www. Largely on Flickr. Unless site management disagrees, I'm happy to link those here rather than upload more megapixels. Thanks Don. ![]() Though this is the result from a seed collected and planted by myself. It is from an existing natively growing stand. RE: Desert Flora - Man From Ironbark - 10-18-2023
RE: Desert Flora - Don - 10-21-2023 Very nice images Peter. RE: Desert Flora - Dave - 10-22-2023 I agree with Don. I never tire of seeing images of your unique "down under" flora. RE: Desert Flora - Man From Ironbark - 10-26-2023 The Cacti above are not unique to the land down under. However, they are desert flora. https://cactusculture.com.au/learning-centre/is-there-any-cactus-in-australia Wrote:There are no cacti native to Australia. Dwarf Greenhood. Each plant has a single flower. Here seen having an apparent cuddle. There are also such plants as this Twining Glycine, which will ramble over the ground and shrubbery. Creating a lovely purple glow. ![]() That's my fence in the background. I planted the tree before it grew and died and I planted the glycine.
RE: Desert Flora - Man From Ironbark - 09-04-2024 Possibly one of the smallest lily flowers. Twining Fringe Lily. ![]()
