Tuesday, July 18, 2023 - Luv2shoot - 07-18-2023 Happy Tuesday all, Sorry that I have been away for so long. I just didn't have anything new to share. I passed up another Group shoot last week to the capital of our state, Lansing. I was not in the mood to take photographs of the government buildings. I understand it is quite an impressive building, but I do not see myself as having the skills to be able to capture buildings in the best way to represent them for grand they really are. Truth be told, I find barns more interesting! Okay, call me a party pooper. This Thursday is group shoot and I a struggling to find something in my archives to submit for our meeting. The topics are NATURE, URBAN ANGLES and VERY BEST. Here is ONE of the photos that I dug up from 2019 for Nature. I call it, "TAKE A BOW" Have a good day. LORELL RE: Tuesday, July 18, 2023 - Dave - 07-18-2023 You have been missed Lorell. But you returned with a very impressive image. A backlit rose taken in December 2007. Reflected light from a nearby white van helped brighten the near side of the flower. RE: Tuesday, July 18, 2023 - Man From Ironbark - 07-18-2023 Lorell is back and horsing around. ![]() Dave's rose should be on a chocolate box. Magnificent. RE: Tuesday, July 18, 2023 - Adamphotoman - 07-18-2023 We all missed Lorell. Hi there Nothing new today.... RE: Tuesday, July 18, 2023 - Luv2shoot - 07-19-2023 Hi ya boys. Thanks for the nice greetings. Dave, that is a beautiful sun kissed rose. I bet it smells good. The rain drops add nice texture. Up late tonight sewing on my latest quilting project, a table runner made with pretty fall colored fabric. On Wednesday I will post another photo that I plan on sharing in Thursday night’s photo club meeting but for now, it’s light out. |
